Artemia Easy Breeder

Artemia crustaceans are fascinating creatures that have been around for over 100 million years. Their high nutrient density makes them an invaluable live food for your aquarium fish, and they are especially essential for rearing juvenile fish and promoting their colourfulness. The Artemia Easy Breeder allows you to breed these valuable creatures with minimal effort. The special design has been developed to gently swirl the Artemia eggs and the hatched nauplii. At the same time, the special shape ensures that the eggs or nauplii do not get stuck in inaccessible corners. The result - an impressive hatching yield! At 24 °C the nauplii hatch in only 24 - 36 hours, at 20 °C in only approx. 30 - 40 hours. So you can provide fresh food for your fish quickly and efficiently at any time. Installation is also child's play. Either mount the Artemia Easy Breeder on the sturdy stand supplied or attach it directly to the aquarium using the suction cups and brackets provided. The advantage of installing it directly in the aquarium is that the Artemia show the best hatching due to the optimal conditions of light and warmth in the aquarium. Now you only have to fill the Artemia Easy Breeder with water up to the mark (approx. 300 ml), connect the hose to a membrane pump and add salt + Artemia (e.g. HOBBY Artemia eggs, Artemia salt or Artemix). After successful hatching, simply turn off the air supply with the enclosed Shut-off valve and wait a few minutes. Now you can simply let the reddish coloured nauplii, which collect at the bottom of the breeder, flow out through the hose and collect them in a container and feed them. You will need 9.6 g of HOBBY Artemia Salt for a batch containing 300 ml of water. The amount of Artemia eggs is added depending on the demand. Alternatively, you can also use the ready-mix HOBBY Artemix.
