Terrano Savannah Sand

Terrano Savannah Sand brings the natural atmosphere of open savannah landscapes directly into the terrarium.
Its deep black colour is reminiscent of fine, mineral soils of volcanic origin and gives every environment an expressive, elegant touch. Plants, stones and animals are shown to their best advantage on this contrasting substrate.
The fine, clay-free sand with a grain size of 0.18–0.4 mm creates a pleasantly soft substrate. It allows the animals to scratch in it, stimulating the natural burrowing behaviour of many reptiles and invertebrates.
It is low in dust, dimensionally stable and ensures a healthy microclimate in the animals' habitat. The perfect substrate for a natural yet exciting design.
It is ideal for desert, steppe and dry terrariums and is safe for all animals.
